In 2017, a couple of new arbors were brought into the garden.
One was placed along the pathway on the north side and the other was used to "frame" the back corner.
Photo above taken in July of 2017.
Both sides of the back arbor were planted with 'Polka' roses.
They are a deliciously fragrant, full petaled, frilly, nothing short of luscious, peach rose.
They overwintered well and are beginning to bloom now.
I could not be happier with this choice.
It's outstanding in every way ~ color, form, hardiness & vigor.
I can't wait until the whole arbor is smothered in 'Polka' blooms ~ wonder how long that will take?!!
Oh gosh, there's something about a peach rose that makes me lightheaded. Your captures with all the various angles are captivating, as always! Enjoy your new arbors!

What a gorgeous rose ! I want it too .. the only thing is I am a terrible mother to roses .. I have to train them much better than I have been doing ... or NOT doing ? I have "At Last Rose" this year in a pot .. but going to plant it in the Fall .. so far it has been really nice, same colour as this !
