I had the most delightful luncheon today.
It's so wonderful to connect with people who share similar interests and history.
The centerpiece from my book club dinner party was re-purposed with fresh David Austin roses ('Abraham Darby & 'Crown Princess Margareta' to be specific) Can anyone ever have enough roses?
I think not.
A "no bake" Strawberry & Cream Pie was made for the occasion. Instead of serving it in the usual way, I used my round metal biscuit cutter to make it more interesting. A spiral of cool whip on top & it was good to go.
Food and conversation followed by a little tour of the garden.
An all-around perfect start to summer!
