It's officially "tulip season" in Colorado. A bit of warm weather last weekend, and they all popped.
'Je t'Aime' tulips are new to my garden. Mixed in a border last fall with 'Charming Beauty,' they're pretty spectacular right now, if I say so myself!
'Charming Beauty' has multiple blooms per stem.
Easy to see in the photo below ~ taken before they began to open.
I don't remember having a tulip do that before? It makes the bed extra full, which is always welcome.
Even more beautiful petals closed tight against the rain.
Spring birdbath ~ a bit past its prime...
The 'Orange Princess' tulips around the base need to be replenished for next spring. Unfortunately they didn't come back very well from last year.
It's so nice to have more GREEN (& color) outside again!
I can't even tell you how excited I am that you are blogging again! I absolutely love all your photos!
