Oh wow - that is beautiful! Did you start these plants from seed? I haven't heard of these annuals, but you can bet I will be looking for them next year! So amazing that they started in the coco fiber doormat! Hope you didn't have too hard of a freeze - we had frost here, but nothing died thankfully.

That is a cute plant, isn't it? One of my friends here in town grows that plant, too. I love the name and it describes the plant perfectly. Hope the frost wasn't too bad! Our temps got down to 36 the other night, and I put the Lemon tree in the garage. Seems like it's OK. It's too early to bring it inside! Nothing else had any frost damage, thankfully. We hit a new record low maximum (make sense?) temperature on Friday. It felt like November. Brrrr...

I love tall plants and so I am thinking I would enjoy this plant in my garden. The common name is such fun too. Isn't it interesting that seedlings germinated in an coco fiber doormat. You may indeed be onto something. Hope the snow did not arrive. It is way to early for such winter weather!!
