Two plants I'm always a sucker for: Primulas and Begonias!
Even if that weren't the case, I could never have passed this Begonia up!
Who could????
It was one of those "love-at-first-sight" plants.
The tag says "Rhine Round Red" but the color is more pink/apricot than red ~ totally fine by me!
I didn't make many greenhouse runs this year so I feel lucky to have come across it.
It's in a pot by my back door all by itself, without competition.
That way nothing detracts from it's
lovely, lovely, loveliness.....
Totally random, Western Kingbird perched atop my neighbors Ash tree:
Lucky me, the pair actually nested in my Bur Oak ~ a first time occurrence!!! They've been really fun to watch. Because they're right outside my front door, I've also learned they're very vocal, not a bird you could ever miss in your garden. Now the babies are big enough they're getting "noisy" when the parents arrive to feed them. I hope I'll be able to photograph them too!
Now that is one beautiful Begonia! It looks like a Rose. I want one! Sigh.

I passed it up and of course I regret it! I may have to make a trip back to the Flower Bin to get the Begonia! Beautiful Kathleen - as always!
