Among the spring beauty coming to life in the garden:
(Hellebore 'Phoebe')
another unexpected curve ball in the game of life.
My precious daughter is fighting for her life from septic shock & pneumonia.
She has been in ICU since Sunday.
Just when I was getting myself together again, another blow.
(Hellebore 'Kingston Cardinal')
Sooooo, (once again) I will NOT be blogging for a while ~ at least until her stats have improved.
If you can spare a prayer or positive thought for her, we would all greatly appreciate it.
Prayers for you and your daughter, Kathleen. So sorry to hear this news, and I hope the doctors get it under control fast. I will be thinking about you and praying for you, for sure. Peace, Beth

I was able to get back on your blog this evening after the trouble I had earlier today. So happy to see your beautiful flowers - didn't really expect to see a post knowing what is going on right now, so it was a pleasant surprise. You know that I am praying so hard for a complete recovery and thank you for keeping the updates coming.

Kathleen girl
I am so sorry your daughter is so sick .. I hope by now (the 29th) she is much better and you are feeling a bit better as well.
It is so stressful when our kids get so seriously sick no matter what their age.
You need time for yourself so taking a break is the best thing to do ... your hellebore are beautiful !! You have taken gorgeous pictures of them.
Take care of yourself girl !

Oh my gosh. This is terrible news. As usual I'm late to the party. I hope by now things have improved and your daughter is recovering. Please keep us posted. Hugs! (And your hellebores are gorgeous.)
