2" on Wednesday night followed by 5" more last night :
Waaahhhh.
At least it stayed mostly on the grassy areas & melted on the sidewalks & roads.
Why am I never ready????
I promised not to whine after our dry, dry summer (and all those scary fires) so that's all I'm saying. Plus, it could be way worse ~ we could be in the path of Hurricane Sandy! For everyone who is, stay SAFE!
Yep, there it is. I figured the next time I visited, you'd have a "snow" post. It's very pretty, but I know what you mean--I'm never ready either. It's wintry here, too, except that we don't have the pretty snow. I don't know if that's good or bad. ;-)

You timed it well, and got all of the delicate plants in on time. Your weather didn't play around with the usual airy little first snow flakes, and came out with the big guns. When I looked at your table and chair set, it looked like you were playing musical chairs and the snow won.

Oh dear! That is not a welcome sight at all. I am always over the beauty of a white fluffy snow after the first one. LOL!

New snowfall is really pretty. The storm Sandy will be pretty BAD.

Beautiful photos - you got a lot more snow than we did. Like you, I am never ready....

Well it sure is pretty in your photos! :-)

Oh Kathleen, you have my deepest sympathies. LOL I'm never ready either, but here it comes. We're expecting a little here too, but not enough to stick. Sandy's winds are howling outside!

Yikes... too soon for that nonsense. How can something so beautiful be such a pain??
