opened on Christmas Day:
A more perfect holiday bloom could not be imagined.
An exquisite combo of red, green & a touch of white.
Compounded by two bloom scapes opening simultaneously.
Double flowering blooms = double deliciousness.
What a wondrous Christmas treat....
Thank you 'Cherry Nymph' for beautifying our holiday. You're another "keeper" Amaryllis with exceptionally impeccable timing!
Would you mind repeating the performance next year???!!
Jean just posted on her blog that her amaryllis opened on Christmas day too. How lucky you both are! Gorgeous blossoms. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

Really Pretty, Kathleen. I have little "Apple Blossom" blooming right now. Should have taken a photo, but it does still seem busy around here these days!!! Looking forward to 2012!

Oooh, it's gorgeous! You are so talented with the indoor (and outdoor) blooms! I'm attempting my first experiment with forced bulbs (Crocuses). Wish me luck! Merry Christmas and all the best in 2012!
