In exactly the same manner as last year ~ three bud stalks at once!
Incredible performance, wouldn't you say?
'Fairytale' is a "miniature" amaryllis which, before I became so obsessed with them, didn't exactly make sense to me. Was it shorter, the blooms smaller, the bulb smaller, etc., etc.?? The answer was immediately apparent upon the first bloom cycle and now (in case you didn't know either) I can happily share with you by simply placing her near large-flowering 'Clown:'
Huge difference in bloom size, right?? 'Clown' blooms are the size of dinner plates while 'Fairytale' blooms are more like tea cup saucers.
Small flowers are nothing to dismiss tho ~ especially when they bloom in quantities like these.
For some reason, having both Amaryllis blooming together makes me think of Valentine's???
I don't think they'll last that long but they're certainly easy to love. :-)
Just exactly how many amaryllis do you have in your home? Must be a lot! I do have two started now, after Christmas clearance bargains. I never did anything with last year's amaryllis, they've been sitting in their pots dozing, but I think one is starting to bloom again. We'll see if I'm right!

You have the prettiest Amaryllis! To have so many stalks come up at once really makes a lovely presentation.

Those are beautiful but I'm particular to the miniature...didn't know there was such a thing...I'll have to scope out the availability for next year!

Another beauty Kathleen. Do you still have to stake the miniatures? If not they would be so much better to grow.Have a wonderful weekend.

I'm curious to know whether they need to be staked as well. 'Fairytale' is beautiful and cute at the same time.

Thanks for your comments everyone.
Robin ~ I have 20+ Amaryllis that I've collected over the years.
Sweet Bay and Lona ~ I never stake the miniatures ~ not because they don't get tall but because the flowers are so much smaller, the bulb doesn't get top heavy like some of the larger flower Amaryllis do.

The diminutive 'Fairytale' blooms are so sweet. What a difference in size compared to 'Clown'!
Both absolutely gorgeous!
You do so well with Amaryllis. Do all 20 bloom for you every year? Mine are hit and miss. I'll have to look back and reread your post on their care.
We're expecting a low of -4ยบ overnight. The cold and snow just keeps coming in waves! Wake me when it's over! ;)
