What a beauty Kathleen. You certainly have a wonderful selection of Amaryllis.

Eliza

Wow 8 on one plant? Very beautiful flower, too -- your photos do it justice. :)

tina

That is a whole lot of blooms and they are never regrettable if they make us happy.

Kala

What beautiful blossoms this plant has! So glad you decided to buy another bulb.

Catherine

The more I see of the Amaryllises on your blog the more I'm starting to break down and want to buy some. My over wintered ones (that were in the garage) aren't doing much.

Alice Golden

oh I love the combo of the bright pink and lime green... reminds me of this beautiful spread on decorating for Christmas with amaryllises that Martha Stewart Living did last year or the year before... did you see that? I'm sure you could do the same with your big collection! :)

Lona

Hi Kathleen. It is just gorgeous. Look at all those buds on it. Wonderful. I want an Apple Blossom one also.I thought I had one last year until it bloomed.LOL! I think it ended up being a Red Lion. I got so many surprises last winter from Amaryllis bulbs.

Ramona

I love your amaryllis! Where were you able to purchase the 'Novella' variety? I need something cheery to get me through the winter.

Shady Gardener

Kathleen, do you know what you need? One of those plant cams. You could make a wonderful showing with your beautiful amaryllis! :-) (Talking to Santa?)

She's a beaut, Kathleen! I haven't planted any this year, at least not yet. I save that for winter when my garden is *really* dead. We finally got really cold and had a bit of snow, so I think the garden is finally done. So sad. You commented awhile back on Michigan's sand. It's called the Great Lake state for a reason, it's just one big beach all along the shores, which are many!
