Very pretty blooms in Colorado! I like your container and the pretty color combination.

The detail on the petals of the Margareta rose is superb!

For such a long cold winter I think your garden will end up passing mine, especially if your peas are doing that well. Your yellows are all anything but mellow!

Wow I can't believe you have peas blooming. I didn't grow any this year, but they would be long gone by now I suspect. Love all the tones of yellow in your garden. :)

Wow, you have several fabulous photos today!!! Makes me almost sorry I had to give up my rose obsession. Both are beautiful. I still love roses but mostly enjoy them in gardens of excellent photographers like you:)

Love the croton container and enjoyed seeing the oriole. That is a late blooming tulip. Very pretty and unusual in June.

That first rose is amazing, I do love Austin roses. I will have to look very carefully and find a tiny patch of sun so I can have her!

Sweet Bay

I don't find yellow to be mellow either, and am always surprised when people don't like it. Needs to say the rose and tulip are gorgeous and so is the Asphodeline lutea. I haven't seen that one before. You got a beautiful shot of the Bullock's Oriole. That's a Pelargonium in the 'Croton' container, right? Which one is that?

I love yellow, especially in flowers. Some day I must get a David Austen rose, they are fabulous! It's funny what I said about my kingdom. Hubby and I are so garden proud that we just love to admire it all, calling it our personal kingdom!

Kathleen, You always have the best flowers to show us! Crown Princess is marvelous~what a treat on a hot summer day! gail

Thanks for all your nice comments everyone!

Sweet Bay that's Geranium 'Mrs Pollock' in the Croton container. She's one of my "Hort Couture" plants. :-)
