That is great news and a gift on a cold, snowy day. It's rainy here, pouring actually~that snow out west moved here. We've had enough moisture, but winter still holding on. gail very nice photos~I almost left without telling you that! Blame it on the distracting rain!

Seems I'm behind and signed your last post today too. LOL
What a wonderful surprise to find Josephine (in all her glory and new growth) in the garage. I'm happy to report that I thought for sure I lost Josephine last summer but she's got new growth coming and looking good! Hooray!
Spring is definitely at your house snow cold weather or not.

I love the picture of the Eranthis. Beautiful.

The image of the Eranthis blossom is just lovely.

Ah... but it is looking good Kathleen, your Clematis is awake, spring is soon here!

It has gotten cold here too. Weird weather. I added some aconites last fall and they all actually came up. I am so happy with them!

Our little setback (snow) didn't last. The temps are going back into the 50's today. I'm seeing a few brave bits of greenery around the garden. Oddly, my species tulips are just emerging way behind the dafs and other tulips.
