It's March! It's March, it's March, it's March!!! The month we officially usher in Spring. The month we welcome Daylight Savings Time. The month we might finally see the garden. The month of my daughter's birthday (oops, that's a personal celebration!) March arrives with hope in our house. If we're lucky, we might see tulips, like these:
I'm sure they welcome March too. They haven't seen daylight in one whole year!
Spring is their season to shine. I can't wait. March might bring snow but maybe, just maybe, it will bring an abundance of blooms too. and sunshine. It feels like a turning point.
Anyone else feeling it too? Maybe you have an extra spring in your step today (after flipping the calendar)??
Happy March! Your images are dead gorgeous!I am dead serious.Stunning!

Hi Kathleen. I sure welcome March and so glad that February is gone. What a snowy month it was. It is so good to see your pink tulips. I hope our Spring will be a warm one.

Those tulips are so pretty, those pictures should be in a magazine or something!
Isn't March great for all the things you mention? More daylight is my favorite part. My husband has his birthday this month, that will be our personal celebration :)

I am thrilled that march is here...Thrilled! Thrilled! Thrilled! I've noticed how much longer the days are and I can't wait to see the sweet spring ephemerals and all the bulbs like the beauties you've shown us. Did I mention I was thrilled?! gail

Yes Kathleen, yes! I feel it! I've been happy all day, just knowing that it's March. By the end of this month, I will have planted some cold season vegetables, trimmed my roses and butterfly bush, watched hubby fertilze the lawn, and welcomed my first bulbs, probably crocus and snowdrops. Yippee, we made it! Glad your orchid is blooming too.

I saw my first robin yesterday! very early for us, I think... was snowing in the morning yesterday, so I was very surprised to see the robin, but it does give me hope that spring will *really* be here soon! I think I'll have to wait until April for tulips though :)

It's finally warming up here and I am ever so excited! Saw a hyacinth getting ready to bloom. Odd that is closer to blooming than the daffodils. Love those pink tulips. They are all up here too. Won't be long!
