The Calla is lovely.

Your poppy is the prettiest color of pink. This was supposed to be my year for poppies but it just didn't work out. None of the seed sprouted except a few of the California poppies. Even they show no signs of blooming. I need to do what you did and just buy a plant or two.

I think of weddings also when I see pure white callas. Just beautiful. I think the poppy is such a pretty pale pink.

I love the calla. I think I need one :) I'm trying more plants in my pond again this year. The last few years I got tired of pulling them out after the raccoons knocked them in, but I miss seeing them. I'm going to have to find zebra rush too.
Love the poppy. I know what you mean about the hole they leave. I've been trying to plant around mine so something is there when it's done.

My favorite flower- by far. There is just something about a Calla- feminine, beautiful, elegant (and a touch erotic;)

Hi Kathleen! Both of your new blooms are pretty, but the poppy captures my heart...There is something about the crape paper petals that is so lovely. I do wish they liked it here, sigh;) The pond has turned out so nicely...must get one! Add to the list! gail

The water calla is beautiful. I think of weddings to when I see them. I guess because they are such a pure white and so elegant looking.

I am envious of your poppy. So Far I have had NO luck trying to grow them.

The Calla is so pretty. I didn't know they could grow in water.

I love the color of your poppy Kathleen! Did you ever have a poppy plant in your garden that wouldn't bloom? I have one such plant. It bloomed the first year, but that was it, no more blooms for 2 years... I think he didn't like that I moved him to a different place.

Your Calla bloom is gorgeous Kathleen. I have a white one in my garden too that is hardy here but I prefer the variegated foliage to the blooms.
