Northern Shade

You really get a chance to study and appreciate the bulb flowers when they are indoors during the winter. Indoors, you don't have to worry about the wind blurring your photos either. Charisma has lovely shadings of red, fading to white at the tip.

Oh yes, she is a beauty indeed. I'm still waiting on my Apple Blossom amaryllis to open up, then I'm sure I will join you in rhapsodizing about mine!

Nancy Bond

What gorgeous blooms -- she almost looks like a beautiful candy cane in her coloring. Wonderful!

Shady Gardener

This is a beautiful amaryllis, but I think your photos are sensational! :-)

You are so right about the wind factor Northern Shade! The lighting is what I have to worry about with my indoor photos ~ I don't have a good flash for my camera so I have to have a lot of natural light for the pictures to turn out okay.

Apple Blossom is definitely another raving beauty Robin. I'll look forward to seeing her. :-)

Candy Cane coloring is a good likeness Nancy. A perfect Christmas bloom, right?

Awwww, thank you Shady Gardener! A big hug to you for that sweet compliment.

She is worth mentioning again & again Kathleen. :) You captured her blooms beautifully!

Thank you for saying that Racquel!

Wow, that is one beautiful amaryllis! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Thank you Darcy! My pleasure...
