I have such a huge (and nearly toppling) stack of books waiting to be read ... though this sounds like another that I could always add to the pile/list :)

I just found your post. I did some research and I didn't find anything about herbs drawing out different characteristics. They usualy make you fall in love, keep men safe in battle, stimulate appetite, that type of thing. Perhaps I don't have the right books, maybe mine are too gentle. But now you've got me curious about this book. I had seen it before and was planning on getting it at the library. I think it's time to "check it out."
