It's a bird. It's a plane. Ha. Who do I think I'm kidding?!! Of course it's a kite. One lone kite (with some anxious neighbor kids attached) fighting desperately to stay airborne. Shows you how deceptive a photo can be. It looks like a beautiful day but the wind was brutal ~ cold, stiff & vigorous. A little too vigorous even for kite flying. I guess March felt compelled to uphold its reputation as the windiest month. That's okay March. Have your fun. We're done with you after tomorrow. Whose laughing now?!!
And I, for one, will be glad to see the back side of March! Here's hoping for a springier April. :)

We'll have to get out our kite soon and have a go.

Thanks for visiting and saying hello! I've just enjoyed reading your last several posts and would love to comment on each and every one. Beautiful photos! Love Crocs...(only mine are Airwalks..or something), your paper crafts are very clever. The kitty and pooch photos are adorable :) And the Easter eggs are so pretty.
I'm wondering which Gloxinia you kept :) They were both so beautiful.

Hi Kerri! Thank you so much for all the nice compliments on my posts and projects. I appreciate them. and I ended up with the lighter colored gloxinia. :-) It would have been hard to not be happy with either, like you said.

I can see how brutal the winds are by the shape of the kite! In fact, it almost appears to be smiling doesn't it?

Hi Diane! I never thought of that before you wrote it, but yes,
it very well could be a smile.
:-) Maybe even kites are happy when March winds are over?!!
