My passion is gardening, my hobby (and some of my freelance work) is papercrafting. Anything from cards to scrapbook layouts. When the two meet, it's pure, unadulterated bliss. Aaahh. Song lyrics from "Wild Thing" come to mind (you make my heart sing) it's such a joyful combination. In that crazy, uplifting spirit, here is a layout I created last summer using one of my favorite photos of the season. (click on the layout to view in its entirety) Happy Friday everyone!
This is lovely -- I really like the photo.

It's very lovely - you do such a beautiful job. My crafting addictions right now are crochet and sewing but they tend to consume me more during the winter months. I worked like crazy to get some projects done before spring because I know they'll never be finished once I'm out in the yard.

Great scrapbook page. I don't scrapbook myself but know how you feel. I do many other crafts and there is always bliss when combining them with gardening.

Thank you all for the compliments on my layout. It's definitely hard to force myself to work inside during the spring (sometimes a relief from the heat is welcome in summer). Gardening is such an artist hobby that I knew other gardeners had to be creative too. :-)
