Opened the indoor 'bulb-blooming season' on Thanksgiving.
If the upcoming holidays are anywhere near as lovely, we'll be in for a treat.
Busy doing what many of you are also ~ packing up Thanksgiving

and moving forward to Christmas...
btw, Lucky am I to have already received a Christmas present!
Isn't it gorgeous???
My dear friend, MaryBeth thought I might like to have it early so I could use it!! And I absolutely will!!!! Thank you so much ~ you know me well!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pretty dishes & birds, what's not to love???
Having had that first taste of gift opening, I feel the holidays are truly "on!" Not that I'm actually shopping or anything ~ it's too crazy for that!! But the decorating proceeds....
Edited to add: In case you're interested, my gift is from Temp-tations (Cardinal 2 qt Baker with Figural Lid)
Hello Kathleen girl !
Oh my goodness these are gorgeous dishes !! So bright and cheerful and so much like Christmas : )
Your plant is also stunning .. I tried once with them .. and it was not a pretty sight when it started to seriously lean ..LOL
I'm good here .. struggling a bit but it could always be worse right ? So I am grateful for my little family and nest to cozy up in : )
Hope you have wonderful holidays if I don't get back for a visit soon!
Joy : )

Hi Kathleen, Hope you had a nice holiday. An amaryllis already! You're starting off the season of indoor bulbs with a beauty. I bought some paperwhites, but shamelessly enough, I still haven't potted them up! I like all your decorative touches. Your early gift is really nice and will certainly come in handy during the holidays.

Beautiful Amaryllis, my Papillio didn't rebloom yet. Not sure why, from my reading it is one that didn't need a dormant period, though, since it hasn't bloomed, maybe it should.
by the way, I have a flower stalk coming up on one of my orchids!! hooorayyyyy!!!
