I've been waiting all summer to see you ~ favorite Dahlia of mine:
There is just something compelling about this soft color pairing.
I've tried many, many other Dahlia tubers and not a single one has stolen my heart like 'Apple Blossom:'
If I fail to winter it over, I always try to buy another.
These are the first photos of the first bloom this year but you know they won't be the last!
p.s. 'Apple Blossom' is a collarette Dahlia (my personal tuber preference) that grows approx 4' tall. If you are lovin' it as I do, Swan Island Dahlias is where you can get your "fix!"
I can see why you love it, what a beauty. Dahlias haven't had a spot in my garden, still trying to figure out a spot for them. That one is sure a tall one.

How beautiful Kathleen. I am going to have to go back through your postings and find the name of that gorgeous tulip you had this spring. I thought I wrote it down or lost the list. Not an uncommon for me to lose things. LOL!
Your pictures are gorgeous as usual. Have a fab week.

She is very beautiful, I don't blame you for loving her! I am terrible with my dahlia's. I seldom remember to dig up the tubers. Last year I finally did! But then I left them sitting out in the garage, and they froze up and died anyway. I'm hopeless!
