I garden in lipstick, sometimes it matches 'Southgate' Fushcia:
sometimes not, depends on my mood.
I always garden in nail polish ~ it's good for hiding dirt!
'Coral Charm' peony fading to buttercream.
I have birds to keep me company:
as well as bees & butterflies.
When my mojo is sagging, a quick inhalation of intoxicating 'Charles Darwin' usually turns it around.
Oh yeah. I can do this all summer long baby.
Flip flops or heels. Girlie from head to toe but hardcore all the way!
I love the Fushcia. They make me think of ballgowns.

Great post Kathleen! Gosh, I never wear lipstick to garden. And any nail polish chips off immediately. LOL Heals? Never! Beat-off sneakers instead. I am definitely not a garden fashionista although I bet some of the neighbours wish I would take a page from your book. Love that peach peony!

Lovely images, Kathleen. I am especially fond of the one of the fushcia. I bought two hanging baskets for our garden.

I'm with you in spirit, but not follow-through. My fingernails are dirty stubs all summer. Great post, though!

I agree, there's not much more refreshing than time spent in our gardens. Love thinking that nail polish will hide dirty nails; I think I may have to give that a try.
