What a beauty Kathleen. How nice of it to bloom just for your book club meeting. It looks so beautiful in the white terrine.

Catherine

It looks really pretty, love the bowl it's planted in! We have lots of frost and fog here. The birdbaths have been frozen for days. It's always so busy this time of year that it makes it especially hard to visit blogs.

You can almost reach inside those blooms...love it when they start to open. Book club sounds like a fun gathering.

That last photo is Christmas card-worthy! They're all gorgeous though and what a stunning flower. Can I come to book club? It sounds wonderful. I've always wanted to do a book club.

Thank you for your comments on my writing blog. I've been doing a lot of research on self-publishing. Some authors are swearing by it. Also, as a writer you are aware of the need to have a "platform." You're right. A blog is a great place to make observations about a writer and their work. In fact from what I'm reading, a blog is imperative these days. Some agents, I've read, will Google your name before they even look at your query letter. They want to see what kind of an online presence you have. Because I don't travel well and I'm not very good at public speaking, I'm really glad to have the computer. Don't you just love this handy dandy tool! :)
