Hi,

I too have difficulty buying things for myself rather than others... I went on quite a shopping spree on Monday, spending far too much on clothes for myself. Whoops!

Janet

Those little owl ornaments look like they need to be on my tree! Too cute.
That chicken looks mad.

I am also a sucker for Christmas ornaments. Love the owls! I have been trying to resist buying things for myself, but have been failing miserably. I picked up 4 gently used books today at the second hand store (including The Forgotten Garden. What luck to get it for $3.99! ). I also bought a large silver urn for less than $10 that will be great for a plant. I love the chicken on the cover of Extraordinary Chickens.

Hi Kathleen, It seems there are so many things to do lately! And yes, I can often easily be tempted to purchase (at least small items) for myself. I know that you're not just purchasing for yourself, though. You seem to be a very generous person! :-)

Those owl ornaments are so adorable, hope Santa makes your wish come true. :)

That chicken is wild! I always enjoy seeing the psychadelic Bantum chickens at the feed store. DH's grandparents had Bantum/ game crosses. They were nice chickens but the hens were protective of their chicks and had long spurs.

Those owl oraments are adorable!

I've done the same thing too. I guess we are allowed to treat ourselves while we are shopping for others. I saw that Country Living at B and N the other day, but resisted picking it up since I knew I'd buy it.
