~ Christmas cards that is. I'm really on the fence this year. It's decision time tho especially considering we normally do a family photo card. With everything that has transpired this fall (and considering I'm so far behind on work, etc.) I'm thinking for the first time (another first) that it may not happen. How about you? Sending or not? Is there a criteria to making the decision? I sometimes think it's an antiquated tradition considering how "in touch" we are today. All the modes of communication available to us have made me wonder if it means the same thing as it used to? I do like receiving a mailbox full of personal mail tho and there are a few people I only hear from at this time of year. Hmmm. Thinking, thinking, thinking. I did get inspired to create a card after taking the poinsettia photos I posted yesterday. Now if only someone would come replicate it a hundred times, the decision would be made!
The photo coordinated perfectly with one of my favorite paper lines, Webster's Pages. The paper is so beautiful by itself that it hardly requires embellishing. A little tag & ribbon:
combined with a special message (compliments of stickers & rub on lettering):
Oh, and a bit of bling (to match the glitter on the poinsettia) and it was done. If only everything were this simple.
